Some people dread Mondays, and I do understand the reason, the end of the weekend for most. I generally like Mondays mainly because it seems to me to be a fresh start every week. Don't get me wrong, it's not as though I just roll out of bed all chipper but there is a feeling of starting anew on Mondays. What is your favorite day of the week? I didn't actually say it was my favorite just reflecting on Monday in general.

The weather is beautiful and definately showing signs of summer. It's a perfect time to go shopping for your new dream home. This is a wonderful area up here so at least check it out before you choose your next destination to live. There's lots to see and do, just ask me....

Hi,

Blog, Blog, Blog, a new word to me only recently and what exactly does it mean. I'm concluding that it is casual conversation only typed not spoken on various subjects. I need to look up the official defination. It is fun just to write off the top of your head and not have to analyze it all too deeply.  I think I'm blogging but I'm not really. Oh well.

Another thought....There is a phrase going around "My Bad" I just don't quite get it. I know what it means but it just doesn't work for me. Maybe me just "Too Old". What do you think?

I know this has nothing to do with Real Estate but I do take a moment from time to time to ponder other things.

If you have ever thought of moving to the country to get away from the hustle and bustlel then check out the beautiful Mother Lode. It is so wonderful up here and though a couple of hours from San Francisco, seems a million miles away. Cool for those of us who love the excitement of the city and calmness of the country. This is a great time of year to see the foothills. Did I mention the winetasting...........

Interest Rates

Just how much will the Feds lower the interest rates? If only I had a crystal ball. I do think the rates will probably go down a bit more. We need that for the economy. Any thoughts on all of this would be welcome.

Real Estate and the Election

Vince and I just went and voted in the primary election. It feels good to vote and to be able to "put our two cents in". There is a lot of positive energy from the public during this election and that also feels good. We have a great country and in my opinion we all need to be involved to keep it that way. History tells us that during an election year the economy will stay the same and then will change with a new President. There will be buying and selling during 2008 and the market will continue to experience ups and downs. There are cycles throughout real estate history. However it is hard to see people who are in a position of possibly losing their home it's heartbreaking. I am looking at the future as realistically as possible and see lots of opportunity for those who are in a position to "seize the moment".
